Eastbourne Lib Dems Announce New Council Line-Up

Following their landslide victory in Thursday's local elections, the Eastbourne Liberal Democrats have announced the new line up on Eastbourne Borough Council.

St. Anthony's ward councillor David Tutt will head up the new administration as Leader of the Council, Devonshire ward councillor Neil Stanley will serve as Deputy Leader whilst also holding the cabinet finance portfolio. They will be joined on the cabinet by Langney councillor Troy Tester (Special Projects and Chief Whip) and Devonshire councillors Margaret Bannister (Housing, Health & Community Services) and Steve Wallis (Economy, Tourism and Environment).

Other key appointments include Hampden Park councillor Mary Pooley who takes the Mayor's job and Langney councillor Harun Miah who will be Deputy Mayor. Upperton councillor Rebeca Madell takes the important job of chair of planning.
